From
the Desk of Mike Easter…
I have been
interested in and involved in photography for most of my
lifetime. In my early teens, long before the advent of digital
photography, I began using a camera to produce black and white
pictures. These
early photographs were developed and processed in a portable
home darkroom.
Then I
developed a passion for ballroom dancing and competed more than 20 years ago.
My wife, Geri and I have been dancing for many
years and teaching ballroom dancing on cruise ships for the past decade.
Our
experience in dancing makes it possible for us to capture
dancers at precisely the right time to catch their best lines.
Some
of our images have appeared in American Dancer, the national
magazine of USA Dance.
Geri has a
background in design, restoring old photographs, creating
collages and designing
company logos. We
currently live in Coconut Creek, Florida.
